Title: GMFA's Guide To Gay Sports Clubs And Social Groups

Swansea University Students’ Union LGBT Society / LGBTsoc

The LGBTsoc provides peer support as well as chances to socialise and/or get involved in campaigns or politics. The social meetings are open to anyone who is, or who thinks they may be gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered or queer. There is a different activity/event each week, from going out on the scene, to relaxing in a union bar, to bowling, cinema, etc. The campaign meetings are open to anyone regardless of sexuality, who believes in the liberation and equality of LGBT people. Activities vary dependant on the current campaigns, but generally revolve around actions on campus, within the students’ union or NUS. Both meetings provide support from peers. SWITCHBOARD: Activity in students union groups varies from year to year.
