LMG formerly London Monday Group for Homosexual Equality

Social and campaigning group established 1973. Holds weekly social gathering (except Bank Holidays) on Monday evenings at Central Station pub at Kings Cross. Their Monday meetings are mainly social evenings. They also organise the CapitalQuiz competition at above meetings during the winter months—phone for details. Membership tends towards middle-aged/middle-class men but its meetings are lively. Subscription £10 (£1 concessions) covers free attendance at meetings and periodic newsletter. Affiliated to SLAGO (Surrey and London Association of Gay Organizations) and to LLGPI (London Lesbian and Gay Policing Initiative). Members also sit on various Police/Community Consultative Committees and Citizens Advice Bureaux Management Committee.
