AGLOW aims to bring together older women of different backgrounds and cultures, so they can share experiences, discuss the issues that affect their lives and campaign. Services include those for older African and other older ethnic minority women and older lesbian women. The association produces a regular newsletter, as well as reports and leaflets on specific issues. It also has a small lending library of books, magazines and articles, and a photographic exhibit available for hire. Activities include speakers, conferences, seminars and training on older women’s issues. Membership is open to individuals over 50 years of age, individuals and groups.Volunteers for admin are needed.
